Me ~ Throwback Thursday

This is my 100 post! Jay. And its Throwback Thursday, so celibate I am going to do something that I don’t usually do. I am going to share a picture of me.

Me!

This is me in 2007 and actually one of the only photos of me that I don’t hate. I am the kind of person who takes the pictures of everyone else. I love to photographs. I think my husband took this picture of me. It’s when I was still living with my parents. It’s at the apartment, in the kitchen, my parents rented, after we sold my childhood home.

I wrote about the packing of my childhood home in another Throwback Thursday post. You can read it here.

I didn’t really feel at home in this apartment. It was in the middle of town and I grew up in the wood about 15 minutes with a car from the city. It was a big adjustment. I felt more at home in my husband (then boyfriends) apartment. But it was a place to live and I had big plans, when this picture was taken. And a year later I moved in with my husband (then boyfriend).

Hope you all have an amazing afternoon/ evening. Now I am going to continue studying for tomorrows lectures.

Love ~ Throwback Thursday

It’s time for Throwback Thursday and because my husband and I had our 12 year anniversary yesterday as a couple I want to share a picture of him and me together in the early days of our relationship.

My husband and me, Autumn 2007

My husband and I have been through thick and thin, but we are still here and we still love each other.

A lot of people thought we were too young when we got together. And even more so when moved into an apartment after 1,5 years relationship. This was a couple of weeks before I turned 18 and he turned 20, but we didn’t care. And now I am really glad that I didn’t listen to them.

Now I am married to the love of my life and the man that is my best friend.

Packing 2006 ~ Throwback Thursday

In November 2006 my family and I were busy packing up the house that I grew up in. My parents had sold the house. For many reasons and at the time it was hard, but I am thankful that they came to that decision. It can’t have been easy. They had lived in that house for about 20 years. They started our family in that house.

We moved out of the house at the beginning of December that year, to an apartment right in the middle of town. The same town my parents still live in. I live in the next town over.

I can still remember how the house looked when I grew up. How the stairs creek when I walked up them to get to my room. How the view from my room was.

And I remember the laughter that was in that house. Our traditions on Christmas. Or how my parents gave me a daffodil from our garden on my birthday every April. There was always one waiting for me to wake up.

The view from the kitchen window from the house I grew up in.

I remember the dreadful green bathrooms with the green toilet and basin. And the brown floor in the kitchen.

Sometimes when I drive by my old house I wonder what has happened in these last 12 years. Have they renovated it so I would not recognise it if I went in?

Moving from the house was a chapter of my life that was ended. Moving to the city from living 15 minutes from it was a big change. That I will write about another time.

Hope you all have an amazing Thursday!

Zelda – Throwback Thursday

So this Throwback Thursday I wanted to share a picture of Zelda because the last two Thursdays I have shared pictures of Oracle.

Here Zelda is about 6 months old and she is really tired. We are at my husband’s job in his office. The dogs love when they get to go with their dad to his work, even if it’s just for a quick visit.

I love to look at old pictures of the dogs when they were puppies. We always wondered if Zelda would grow into her ears and paws. When we brought her home she had bigger paws than Oracle had. Now I don’t think they are too big for her body.

October 18 ~ Throwback Thursday

Todays Throwback is a picture of Oracle enjoying the autumn sun in October 2014.

She is about 1,5 years old in this picture and she still loves to roll around in the grass or snow. Sometimes I still believe that she is a puppy. She acts like a puppy occasionally and I love her zest for life.

I also want to share this song that came out in October 2014:

I still think its really good and I have it on my playlist for when I am cleaning the house.

Have an amazing day!
