18th March – Motivation Monday

It’s Monday and here in Edinburgh the birds are singing outside the window. Its kind of cloudy, but that’s okay. At least its not snowing or raining like it did this Saturday. It feels like spring is here to stay and that is one thing that motivates me.

Today I only have one lecture. And I need motivation to go to it. I am still tired from the hectic week I had when I finished to essays in the course of a week. I think I kind of drained myself. But this week I am going to really start on the next essay. And the theme of the essay is something that I find really interesting so I hope it will be more fun and relaxing to write.

Today’s motivational quote is not really a quote. It’s more of a mantra that I found on Pinterest a while back.

I am grounded.
I am loved.
I am enough.

I don’t know where it comes from and or anything, but it helps me in my darkest days. And I wanted to share it with you. I say this over and over in my head some days and it gives me the motivation to keep going. Keep fighting. Because I know that I can do it and that I am so much stronger then I think.

I hope you have a wonderful Monday and a fantastic week!

Motivation Monday

Good Morning! It’s Monday and time to kickstart a new week. I am getting closer and closer to my deadlines for my four essays, but I am working hard.

Today’s motivational quote is:

“A Goal should scare you a little bit and excite you a lot.” ~ Joe Vitale

I agree with this. Moving here to Edinburgh to study was scary but so exciting. And that was a really good thing.

Now I have to go and get ready for today’s tutorial and lecture. Have a wonderful Monday and a fantastic week.

Motivational Monday – 4th February

It’s another Monday and it’s time for some motivation. I don’t know about you, but today I really need it. Today’s motivational quotes are:

“With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

And this important. Think new thoughts. Forget the past. Forget what has happened. It’s a new day. A new week. Take a deep breath and just keep on going. That is what I am going to do.

Have an amazing Monday and a wonderful week!

Motivational Monday ~ 27th January

It’s time for a new Motivational Monday. I am starting week 4 studying here in Edinburgh today. I am still sick, but I am working as hard as I can.

Many people have had their ideas what I should do with my life. Friends (no longer friends), doctors, employment officer and so many other people. But it’s my life. And today’s quote is perfect if you need the push to live your life your way or if someone has opinions on your life!

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life” ~ Steve Jobs

Live your life how you want! And have a fantastic week!

Motivational Monday

So I was told when I got into University in Sweden, about 26 months ago, that I could never study full time. This was from a person whose job was to help me find a job and support me. I was so angry when I left that person office and I told my self that I should not listen to what had been said. That I am so much stronger then people believe.

And this is why today’s quote is:

“Think Big And Don’t Listen To People Who Tell You It Can’t Be Done. Life’s Too Short To Think Small.” ~ Tim Ferriss

Never listen to the negative people around you. Go after your dreams. You can do it! I believe in you!

Have an fantastic week!

Motivational Monday

I am still having a hard time here in Edinburgh, but I am not giving up. I am trying to do every day the best I can. Therefore I think today’s motivational quote is perfect for me right now.

Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.  Ralph Waldo Emerson

And this is what I intend to do every day. I want to give it my very best and get these 5 months abroad a real chance.

I wish you all a fantastic Monday.

31 December ~ Motivational Monday

Tomorrow is a new year. And for this Motivational Monday I thought this quote was a good one:

“A new year                                                                                                               A new start                                                                                                              And way to go!”

And as some of you now, I am moving with my husband to Edinburgh in a couple of day. I am going to study for a semester on Heriot-Watt University.

I am so excited. This is a big step for me and in my darkest moment I didn’t think I could do this, but I have the support from my husband. And my family of course. So I am really motivated right now. My emotions are all over the place.

But think of all you can do in this new year. Make it a new start. Don’t think about the past. Focus on the future.

2019 here we come!
