It’s another Monday and it’s time for some motivation. I don’t know about you, but today I really need it. Today’s motivational quotes are:
“With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt
And this important. Think new thoughts. Forget the past. Forget what has happened. It’s a new day. A new week. Take a deep breath and just keep on going. That is what I am going to do.
It’s time for a new Motivational Monday. I am starting week 4 studying here in Edinburgh today. I am still sick, but I am working as hard as I can.
Many people have had their ideas what I should do with my life. Friends (no longer friends), doctors, employment officer and so many other people. But it’s my life. And today’s quote is perfect if you need the push to live your life your way or if someone has opinions on your life!
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life” ~ Steve Jobs
Live your life how you want! And have a fantastic week!
So I was told when I got into University in Sweden, about 26 months ago, that I could never study full time. This was from a person whose job was to help me find a job and support me. I was so angry when I left that person office and I told my self that I should not listen to what had been said. That I am so much stronger then people believe.
And this is why today’s quote is:
“Think Big And Don’t Listen To People Who Tell You It Can’t Be Done. Life’s Too Short To Think Small.” ~ Tim Ferriss
Never listen to the negative people around you. Go after your dreams. You can do it! I believe in you!
I am still having a hard time here in Edinburgh, but I am not giving up. I am trying to do every day the best I can. Therefore I think today’s motivational quote is perfect for me right now.
Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year. –Ralph Waldo Emerson
And this is what I intend to do every day. I want to give it my very best and get these 5 months abroad a real chance.
Tomorrow is a new year. And for this Motivational Monday I thought this quote was a good one:
“A new year A new start And way to go!”
And as some of you now, I am moving with my husband to Edinburgh in a couple of day. I am going to study for a semester on Heriot-Watt University.
I am so excited. This is a big step for me and in my darkest moment I didn’t think I could do this, but I have the support from my husband. And my family of course. So I am really motivated right now. My emotions are all over the place.
But think of all you can do in this new year. Make it a new start. Don’t think about the past. Focus on the future.
It’s Monday again and today’s Motivational Monday post is a little late. I was having a problem finding a quote that I thought was fitting for this week. But I think I have found it.
All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. – Walt Disney
I love Disney and Walt Disney has said so many wonderful things. I think this is one of the best ones. I hope you all go after your dreams.
A hard week is soon over and a new week is just around the corner. I am so grateful for all the amazing people around me that support me. This week has been a challenge, but I made it through and because of that I am a little bit stronger.
Today I wanted to quit. I was going to my self-defence class and I just wanted to call my friend and say that I was not feeling good. But I powered through. And I had an amazing time. It was hard at times when I had my flashbacks, but the trainers where amazing.
After the self-defence class, my husband and I took a walk with the dogs down by the river. It was starting to get dark, but it was beautiful with the snow that was gently falling down.
Picture from today’s walk down by the river
Now I am sitting on my sofa with two sleeping dogs beside me and my husband is driving to change cars with my parents and to pick up pizza. Probably the last pizza before we move to Edinburgh. I love pizza, but we don’t eat it that much. We try to cook as much as possible, because of my food allergies.
Now I am going to snuggle with my dogs. I hope you all have a fantastic Sunday. A happy third Advent. We are going to light the third candle when my husband gets home.
It’s Monday and time to get motivated! Today’s quotes are one that I know I had in one of my old Calender’s.
“Do What You Can With All You Have, Wherever You Are.” ~ Theodore Roosevelt
I don’t really know what to say about this quote. I think it sums it up well. And I think this one is good not just as a motivation, but also if you think about what you see in the world. If you want to change things that you find to be wrong. Everyone can do something.
I hope you will have an amazing Monday and a fantastic week!
It’s Motivational Monday and today I want to share a motivational quote that I feel is very important because when I started studying at University I was 26 years old and people said to me that I was too old.
“You Are Never Too Old To Set Another Goal Or To Dream A New Dream.” ~ S. Lewis
But you are never to old. Do what you want. Follow your dreams. Go after what you want.
That’s all I wanted to say today. Have a fantastic Monday and an amazing week!
It’s a new week and I have so much on my mind. For this Motivational Monday, I decided to share a quote that I have to remind my self about constantly.
“Think Continually About What You Want, Not About The Things You Fear.” ~ Brian Tracy
Bemuse I live with anxiety, depression and panic attacks, I am afraid of so many things. I am afraid something can happen to my husband, the dogs or my family. I am afraid to faint in public. I am afraid of getting a panic attack. I know this is ironic because having anxiety over this can cause a panic attack.
Sometimes I just have to think about what I want in life and not everything I am afraid of. Everyday is a struggle for me. I have a panic attack at least once a day, but I don’t let it stop me. I know I am better than that. And what I want is to get a degree and I am not going to let my fears stop me.
And if I can do it so can you. You are so much stronger than you believe!
