19th December ~ Christmas Song of the Day

Happy Hump day everyone! Today’s Christmas Song is Sleight Ride. I love this song and it always makes me happy. It takes me back to my childhood and walking around in the snow in the woods.

Come on, it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you
Giddy-yap, giddy-yap, giddy-yap, let’s go
Let’s look at the show
We’re riding in a wonderland of snow

I hope you liked the Christmas Song of the day. Have a fantastic Wednesday.

18th December ~ Christmas Song of the Day

It’s Tuesday and Christmas is just a week away. We have snow outside now and I hope it stays that way. I want a white Christmas. Therefore is the Christmas Song of the day: White Christmas. I love this classic Christmas song and my favourite is when Bing Crosby sings this song.

But I also like when Michael Bublé sings this song with Shania Twain. It´s a little more sway in that song. Perfect to listen to while you pack presents, clean the house or bake.

I hope you all have an wonderful Tuesday!

17th December ~ Christmas Song of the day

It’s Monday again and today’s Christmas song is Santa Baby. This is a song I have loved since I saw Clarista Flockhart sing it on an episode on Ally McBeal. You can hear her version down below.

Many artists has sung this song and I think it’s hard to pick which ones are the best. But I think that two of the best are Eartha Kitt and Kylie Minogue’s versions.

That’s it for today. Tomorrow I will be back with a new Christmas Song of the day. Have a fantastic Monday!

16th December ~ Christmas Song of the day

Christmas is about a week away and I been hearing a lot about peoples Christmas wish lists the last couple of days. And I have been thinking about what I want for Christmas. It got me thinking about this song because I think it sums up pretty much what I want for Christmas. So the song for today is My Grown Up Christmas List.

I think Kelly Clarkson sings this song so beautiful and the lyrics is wonderful. I also like Michael Bublé’s version of this song.

I hope you liked today’s song. I am back with a new song tomorrow. Have a fantastic Sunday!

15th December ~ Christmas Song of the day

We are getting closer and closer to Christmas. And I can see the excitement on kids faces. And I have to admit I am excited too.

The Christmas song of the day is Frosty The Snowman. This is a song that I love. It has always been on my Christmas Music playlist.

I have chosen these two versions of the song because they are my favourites. I know that I grew up listening to Bing Crosby’s Christmas music and his singing give me Christmas feelings. And I Michael Bublé because I love listening to him sing.

Have an wonderful Saturday!

12th December ~ Christmas Song of the day

It’s Hump Day and I have a class today. I am not feeling that motivated to drive to campus for an 80 minutes class. I am going to spend more time in the car, but what can you do. I will be listening to today’s song, Run, Run Rudolph to lift my spirits.

This is a song that I associate with Christmas because I know that it was on one of the CDs my parents always listen to around Christmas time. And now I always listen to it in December.

I hope you have a great day, and don’t let the fact that it’s Hump Day bring you down.

11th December ~ Christmas Song of the day

It’s time for the Christmas Song of the day and today I went with a classic. Deck the Hall. The lyrics are according to Wikipedia from 1862, written by
Thomas Oliphant. This song is sung by Choirs and by artists. Down below are a few of my favorit versions of the song.

This is one of my favourite songs to listen to while I decorate the house. I really like the Pentatonix version.

And how doesn’t love Julie Andrews. When I hear her sing, I think about Mary Poppins and all the great memory’s I have of watching that movie.

Which version is your favorite? I can’t decide. I love them all.

Hope you have an amazing Tuesday!

10th December ~ Christmas Song of the Day

It’s Monday and I wanted today’s Christmas Song to be uplifting and dance-friendly. This is a song that I listen to when I dance around and clean the house. And it’s: Feliza Navidad.

And I also like this version with Celine Dion. She has an amazing voice and I love the Christmas Song’s that I have heard with her.

I wish you a fantastic week, from the bottom of my heart!

9th December ~ Christmas Song of the day

Today’s Christmas song is Underneath the Tree. I love this song because I think it sums up my feelings that I care more about being with my husband then the presents under the tree. Christmas isn’t Christmas to me without him.

I think Kelly Clarkson Has an amazing singing voice and I like her music. And this song is perfect for my Christmas playlist.

Have an fantastic Sunday!
