24th December ~ Christmas Songs of the day

I am so stupid. I thought I had done this posted and timed it because I knew that I wouldn’t get any time to post anything on the 24th. But I hadn’t. So I have to post it today instead (25th) and back post it.

Here are the songs for Christmas eve.

I hope you had a magical Christmas Eve. I know I did.

21st December ~ Christmas Song of the Day

Right now I am waiting for my husband to get home. It’s his last day at work before we move to Edinburgh, and I just want him home with me. He usually works the days between Christmas and New Year, but not this year. He has taken the time off to spend it with me and the dogs. And to help keep me calm and so we can pack what we need for our move.

So I think today’s song is appropriate. It’s Christmas (Baby, please come home). Because I want him to come home to me.

These are my two favourite versions so far of the song. I will now listen to these and hope my husband gets home soon.

Have a magical Friday afternoon and evening.

20th December ~ Christmas Song of the Day

Christmas is just a few days away and I haven’t packed a single present yet. I will definitely begin with that today. And a few presents haven’t arrived yet, but hopefully, they will come today or tomorrow. And now to the song of the day. This is one of my favourite Christmas songs because it’s in one of my favourite Christmas Movies, Home Alone. The song is Carol of the Bell.

I think this version that was in the movie is the best. I have to watch Home Alone soon. Maybe even today. I hope you have a fantastic Thursday.

19th December ~ Christmas Song of the Day

Happy Hump day everyone! Today’s Christmas Song is Sleight Ride. I love this song and it always makes me happy. It takes me back to my childhood and walking around in the snow in the woods.

Come on, it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you
Giddy-yap, giddy-yap, giddy-yap, let’s go
Let’s look at the show
We’re riding in a wonderland of snow

I hope you liked the Christmas Song of the day. Have a fantastic Wednesday.

18th December ~ Christmas Song of the Day

It’s Tuesday and Christmas is just a week away. We have snow outside now and I hope it stays that way. I want a white Christmas. Therefore is the Christmas Song of the day: White Christmas. I love this classic Christmas song and my favourite is when Bing Crosby sings this song.

But I also like when Michael Bublé sings this song with Shania Twain. It´s a little more sway in that song. Perfect to listen to while you pack presents, clean the house or bake.

I hope you all have an wonderful Tuesday!

17th December ~ Christmas Song of the day

It’s Monday again and today’s Christmas song is Santa Baby. This is a song I have loved since I saw Clarista Flockhart sing it on an episode on Ally McBeal. You can hear her version down below.

Many artists has sung this song and I think it’s hard to pick which ones are the best. But I think that two of the best are Eartha Kitt and Kylie Minogue’s versions.

That’s it for today. Tomorrow I will be back with a new Christmas Song of the day. Have a fantastic Monday!

16th December ~ Christmas Song of the day

Christmas is about a week away and I been hearing a lot about peoples Christmas wish lists the last couple of days. And I have been thinking about what I want for Christmas. It got me thinking about this song because I think it sums up pretty much what I want for Christmas. So the song for today is My Grown Up Christmas List.

I think Kelly Clarkson sings this song so beautiful and the lyrics is wonderful. I also like Michael Bublé’s version of this song.

I hope you liked today’s song. I am back with a new song tomorrow. Have a fantastic Sunday!
